1992 Isuzu Amigo
Trying
not to tear up the awesome GLI, but unwilling to sell the
Jeep
(at that moment), I opted for the Amigo. When I told Michael that
I was thinking of trading in my Jetta, he said I should get a
truck. My friend,
Lorette,
had a black Amifo and loved it. Of course, she had the
4-wheel-drive version. I bought the two-wheel-drive (Rear Wheel
Drive,
at that) with a 4-banger (four cylinder engine). It was capable
and
fun, but not really what I had hoped for. Additionally, my boss
at the time told me that if I was going to become a manager at CTC, I
should drive something a little more "managerial", so I traded it in on
a 1992 VW Jetta GL.
