1968 Ford Torino GT Fastback
Engine:  390 cubic inch (FE Series)
Drivetrain: 3-speed automatic (C6) with 9-inch rear end

We bought this car with no engine, transmission, or rear-end from a junkyard in Pennsylvania.  The seller told us that he had known this car to be in the area for years and that the previous owner had pulled the original 390  out of the car and put it in a drag car.

The interior is in good shape, considering its age, and the fact that it has not been restored.

The fastback roofline on this car is a work of art...

We bought a 1969 Fairlane 500 that had a 351 Windsor with a three speed manual transmission on the column in order to get the nine-inch rear differential that is now on the car.  It was a shame the Fairlane was so far gone - that powertrain combination had to make it a rare care itself.

We bought a 1970 Galaxie 500 Two-door Sportsroof for the 390-4V engine and C-6 automatic transmission, which will both be installed once they are cleaned up.  See pictures of the engine below.

It cleans up nicely.

More to come, soon...
