My mother bought Elliott, the El Camino,
for my college graduation
from
the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. in December
of 1985. It was beautiful. I had a new stereo installed,
and
had a custom made tonneau cover made for it. About a month before
I was to go into the military, it started stalling in
intersections.
The carburetor would overflow and the gas would ignite. I decided
this was not the vehicle I should have to drive around as a new Air
Force
officer, so I traded it in on a. 1986 Pontiac Sunbird GT.
