Ford Trucks

I've always had a "thing" for Ford trucks, and my favorite years were the ones they built in the '70s, until the 1992 model year, which I still think is the best looking truck ever built.  They stayed with this design from 1992 to 1996.  In 1994, they decided to go crazy and build a truck that would blow all of the others away.  It was called the F150 Lightning!

Lightning!

Again!

Lightning strikes twice!  The F150 was redesigned for the 1997 model year.  It was a "prettier" truck, but it was still a beautiful vehicle - and still Ford Tough!  This is the '99 F150 Lightning

Despite the beauty and speed of the Lightning, the Full-Size Bronco of 1992 to 1996 is by far my favorite truck (SUV) ever.  This is the '92 Bronco "Nite"

After the introduction of the new F150, Ford introduced the redesigned F250 which carried more of the cues from the 92-96 design, but incorporated the "semi-like" raised hood design of the '94 and up Dodge Ram truck.  I like it even better than the Ram.

Our next vehicle will very likely be the '04 Escape Hybrid (gasoline/electric).  It's big enough to carry us and the dogs, yet gets up to 40 mpg.  It's due out in the fall of '03.
