Heavy Metal Cruisers

1965 Imperial Convertible
(I'll actually settle for a 1965 or 1966 coupe, sedan, or convertible.)

1968 Chevrolet Impala
(Another car where I cannot decide between two years in a row! I also love the '69!)

1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible (Top) and Catalina (bottom)

1968 Mercury Park Lane

This "Black Beauty" is the actual car used in the hit CBS TV Series, Hawaii Five-O!  I was really looking for a 1967 Park Lane two-door fast back, but this is a suitable substitute.  Click here to go to the site with an article by the current owner of this piece of television history.  Click on photo or link above to see more of McGarrett's Mercury.  Click this link to see more cars by Mercury.

Modern Day Metal

A nice example of the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala SS, and still one of my favorites.
(This was the first candidate for the role of the modern-day Black Beauty!)

2003 Mercury Marauder
(This is the newest candidate for a modern-day Black Beauty)

1999 Jaguar XJR
(This is the final candidate - and in my mind, the winner - in the quest for a modern-day Black Beauty.
It's big, sleek, fast, and exudes luxury, just like the 1966 Imperial did in it's day!
Now, I just need to write a script and get someone to front me the money to do the movie!!)
